During all these phases of life the process of learning is endless where we get to learn many things, may it be the small or the vital aspects of life. But the important aspect being the “learning”, that we acquire at various stages through various means in life. Because that’s what truly would help differentiate a human being from,”being human“.
Evaluating all the factors and all the stages of life, there are the 10 must do things in life which are mentioned below which is a very important aspect in the overall development of a being and the key to understand life and its value in a much better way. Let’s start right from the childhood which you can do and should be the, “must do things in life” :
1- Help Others :
It always gives a sense of satisfaction and a strange sense of achievement to have done something good to humanity and in-turn giving in to your “GooD KarmA” quotient.
2- Learn to Manage Time :
Everyone in our life and every assignment we take up is important. Learn to manage time and to allocate appropriate amount of time to each aspect. It would help optimize the productivity of you as an individual.
3- Read as Much as You Can:
Follow your passion and read a lot. Books provide you with knowledge which are the best companion for life and would stay with you always. Even when you are alone, your knowledge would give you a good company to stay alive and lively.
4- Pursue a Hobby:
When you are alone and there is no one along, its your knowledge and your hobby who can give you the best company. Ex- If you are an amazing flute player, think what magical tunes can you make in tranquillity.
5- Get Married and Have Kids:
Even Buddha went through this phase. It gives you a sense of worldly attachments and the sense of responsibility that your parents took charge of, when you were a kid.
6- Teach your Kid to be Happy:
The pursuit of happiness is like a mirage. We feel its presence in the worldly pleasure, however it can be in the smallest of things that we have with us now. Make your kids realise the value of life and the happiness of living in the present. They will grow rich themselves.
7- Don’t Fear to Fail:
Don’t hesitate to try because of the fear to fail. It might lead you such invaluable routes which were never travelled by. And as the famous poem,”Road Not Taken” by Robert Frost rightly points out, sometimes the paths less explored lead to great destinations.
8- Attend a Funeral:
Attend a funeral in life and take your sensible kid along too when he is of the condition to understand you. It will give you the understanding of this materialistic world and then make you realize how futile it is. Even the wealthiest of the lot go back(leave this world) empty handed. So be wise and act wise.
9- Respect and Love:
Respect your elders for they have the experience you are yet to gain. And love all as what goes around, comes around.
10- Live Your Life With No Regrets:
Live your life in a way that you wont regret any actions of yours. Live everyday to the fullest as it was your last day, and should it be the last day, you wont have any complains from death.
Everybody who touches your life is important in some or the other way. We even remember the friends with whom we fought the most during school times and chuckle. It’s important to value all and then remember that it’s on us to choose and make our life after all.
